Challenge

The previous CruiseLink site had existed since the early 2000's and not seen much change since. It was dated, far past it's use-by-date and leaving support. However, a robust process to book flights, significant filtering and a quick search response had led to a dedicated user base, including those in large companies like Expedia. On top of that, CruiseLink also featured an extensive Administration view, allowing the client to manage their database and records, also needed to be updated.

Goal

With the old site nearing the end of its lifespan, it was crucial to swiftly redesign and redevelop the entire platform for a seamless migration. React was chosen for the rebuild, and design surgeries and requirement gathering commenced within a week of receiving the project.

Result

Over three months, over 100 screens were revamped in Figma, user flows were streamlined, the admin portal updated and the brand was refreshed. Unnecessary steps were eliminated and accessibility was enhanced for new users. The updated UI design captures attention, guiding users seamlessly through flight discovery and booking. The result is a scalable and engaging platform, laying the foundation for future growth of both the product and business.
